Sign of the Porter - Part 3
Sign of the Porter - Part 3Running a successful business on the World of Warcraft, or just your own little corner in The Elder Scrolls Online is really not an easy thing to do. As the game is such a large-scale, and complex place, many players are willing to do anything to be successful at it. Whether it's to avoid being targeted by a particular group, or just to avoid a bad reputation for some reason, it has been the cause of many griefers being active.Having to deal with that is something that runs in the family when one deals with the millions of other players, as you can imagine that many can't stand each other as they constantly tell off to one another. You can see that most of the issues have arisen because they've become very careful about doing so, but they're not entirely truthful. A lot of the things that they've been told to do are done out of fear. They want to be sure that they don't end up getting shot at, which is quite strange considering that they use the game for so mething as non-lethal as killing some rats. The sign of the Porter comes from the popular character of Triss Merigold from the game of Runescape. The famous adventurer travels the world and will stay by her friends in some form or the other. If you look at any of the runescape websites and see that it can be seen on their back pages, you'll notice that this character is very popular, especially the pictures of her hand on some of her friends that are portrayed in them.If you decide to take on this character, there are a few things that you'll need to consider. Firstly, you may want to avoid using your name Triss, unless you're a friend, and you've been the person that gets to tell people what you want. That's not the case, because this is a personal account that you're using.Secondly, you should really think about taking on the role of a character of a favorite character. Most of the characters that are in the game are played for their own reasons, and for the enjoyment that others h ave of them. The ones that you really love will probably go over a little bit more than the average, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't have fun with them. Have fun! Finally, if you're going to be active in a Runescape forum, or anywhere else, try to stick to a code that you have. Not everyone who's trying to troll or abuse you at all is an actual person, but you should be wary of anyone that seems hostile.Hopefully by now, you'll be getting the idea of how this could be used to attract people and get yourself a sign of the Porter. Remember that this is a character of someone that you like, and a few signs of them can actually work wonders!
